Role: Finance Assistant
Location: Alloa (Hybrid - 2 days/week in-office)
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 (permanent) or £14-£16/hour (FTC) - The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications and/or training.
Start Date/Contract Length: Immediate Start for a 3-6 Month Contract
About the Role
Robert Half are pleased to be working in partnership with a homeowner-focused Community Interest Company based in Alloa, is seeking a proactive and commercially-minded Finance Assistant to support their small and growing team.
This role is ideal for someone confident in Xero, who enjoys simplifying finance processes, managing tech platforms, and working in a people-first organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Optimise and manage internal finance processes using Xero
2. Support the integration of a new homeowner tech portal (Otago)
3. Manage the finance inbox, responding to queries efficiently
4. Engage with homeowners and the wider team, offering support and insight
5. Assist with tech adoption and AI rollout initiatives in the finance function
Who We're Looking For
6. Strong working knowledge and experience of Xero
7. A team player with commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset
8. Comfortable handling communications with homeowners and other stakeholders
9. Someone who can bring structure, initiative, and efficiency to the role
Working Environment
10. Small, close-knit team (5 FTE)
11. In-office requirement: 2 days/week (typically Tuesday and Thursday)
12. Regular team development days
