and main responsibilities
·Develop UHD endoscopy nurse led vetting clinics for endoscopy referral in line with JAG, national and regional guidelines including fast track OGDs / GA
·Be involved in the development of new nurse led services (Barrett’s Oesophagus Clinics)
·Daily triage assessments of patient referrals
·Regular involvement with patient’s health education/promotion
·Supporting endoscopy nursing staff with training and operational issues around advace endoscopic procedure ie RFA, FTRD .ESD, complex colons and upper GI therapeutics
·Liaising with appropriate Clinicians, Specialist Nurses and MDTs

Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. •NMC registration
2. •Physical Examination of the Adult qualification, or willing to undertake.
3. •Post registration course related to speciality
Desirable criteria
4. •Academic Level 3 / Level H study
5. •Leadership qualification
6. •Non-Medical Prescriber or willing to undertake
Experience
Essential criteria
7. •Demonstrable Endoscopy experience/knowledge
8. •Experience and evidence of service improvement projects
9. •Audit activities
10. •Ability to work at an autonomous level

11. •Experience of Advanced Endoscopic Procedures
