Wilson Brook Consulting has been retained by MEDITE SMARTPLY, a market-leading European manufacturer of engineered wood panels, to appoint a Head of Sales – Industry.
MEDITE SMARTPLY supplies construction, furnishing and industrial processing markets across the UK, Ireland and internationally. The business is financially secure, highly invested, and pursuing a clear long-term strategy focused on relevance, sustainability and profitable growth.
This is a newly created role, reflecting the importance of a small number of strategically critical industrial / OEM customers within the MEDITE business unit.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional regional sales management role.
The Head of Sales – Industry will own a defined portfolio of c.15 high-value industrial and processing customers (manufacturers, OEMs, laminators, finishers, kitchen and furniture producers). Many of these customers operate across borders, with the UK as a primary end-market.
The role has been created to:
1. Centralise ownership of key industrial/OEM accounts
2. Improve pricing consistency, margin protection and forecasting accuracy
