Lead Performance Director
Responsibilities
* Leading and mentoring the Motion Capture Team and other Performance Directors under the leadership of the Director of Animation and in coordination with the Voice Director
* Develop and improve upon our motion capture tools and techniques best practices to build upon our ability to deliver story and action moments
* Communicate and coordinate with the stakeholders in Voice, Story, Cinematic Art, Design and Animation
* Craft a consistent and comprehensive approach and direction for the physicality of Larian characters
* Work alongside VO direction with our performers to craft and deliver the personality and physicality of NPC dialogue interactions
* Schedule, plan and efficiently direct motion capture action and cinematic shoots
Requirements
* Extensive experience in working with motion capture technology and data
* Experience directing actors and a solid understanding of what makes a successful performance
* Clear communication skills and a background in leading teams
Nice to haves
* Knowledge of game engines, maya, motion builder, Shotgrid, editing software
* Experience with voice direction
* Understanding of storyboarding, cinematography, body mechanics
