Key Responsibilities: Achieve the monthly sales budget for the South Wales area. Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with new and existing customers through proactive face-to-face sales. Prepare and execute geographical business development plans aligned with product strengths and targeted industries. Create individual customer development plans for priority accounts with clear objectives and follow-up actions. Analyse accounts and managed products using CRM, CGE, and Pivot reports to maximise profitability. Respond to incoming sales leads on the same day. Ensure accurate documentation for contracts and call-offs. Drive managed product campaigns in collaboration with the Product Management team in Leeds. Implement product price changes across the customer base. Utilise area management tools effectively (e.g., daily orders, quotes, margin analysis). Maintain accurate and detailed CRM records following customer visits. Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure efficient time management and sales growth. Log and escalate customer complaints promptly via the Quality System. Carry out any reasonable ad-hoc requests from management. Candidate Requirements: Degree-level education or equivalent. Proven experience in a commercial environment with strong analytical and sales skills. Proficiency in modern ERP and CRM systems, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities. Full UK driving licence is essential.
