Salary: £150-£220 per day

This is an opportunity for a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive village school at the heart of the Derbyshire Dales. Staff make the most of the local environment to deliver a creative and varied curriculum that takes learning beyond the classroom in Key Stage 1.
Requirements and Expectations
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience of teaching in Key Stage 1
* Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early phonics teaching
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that meet the needs of all learners in Key Stage 1
* Commitment to nurturing pupils’ curiosity, independence, and love of learning.
* Willingness to use the school’s outdoor spaces and local environment to enrich learning in Key Stage 1
* Good communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues, parents, and the wider community
* High expectations for behaviour, progress, and personal development
* Enthusiasm for contributing to the wider life of a small, community-focused school
