The Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £12.92 per hour; this increases to £14.05 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We value flexibility and are happy to accommodate your availability.
As the face of Tesco on the road, you will deliver to customers' homes across the region, providing excellent service and support. No two shifts are the same, and you'll have backing from managers and colleagues.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized
* Maintaining a tidy delivery area and picking up litter
* Washing trays as required
* Loading the van and checking its roadworthiness
* Communicating with customers about order changes and substitutions
* Handling products carefully and delivering within the scheduled time slot
* Calling customers before early arrivals and stores if late
Requirements:

* Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
