We are excited to encourage you to join an expanding and successful Dermatology/Rheumatology team, where you will be responsible for the smooth running of a specialist ward and Phototherapy clinics.
This role includes the supervision and development of pre-registration nurses, recently registered nurses, and supporting staff. You will support service users, their families, loved ones, and carers in the assessment of their care needs, ensuring effective communication is always maintained, and providing the best possible evidence-based care.
Our Phototherapy service is split over 3 sites, Salford Care Organisation, Fairfield General Hospital, and Stockport Hospital – Kingsgate branch, where we rotate staff to gain a wide range of Dermatology experience. The specialist ward is based in Salford Care Organisation which has recently been accredited as one of the best performing wards in the Northern Care Alliance.
We will provide specialist training in Dermatology and Rheumatology treatments, including a nationally accredited, multiple day, training course in delivering Phototherapy treatment to treat a range of Dermatology issues.
