6–8 week temporary assignment Your new company Hays are recruiting for an established and community-focused housing association in Glasgow. They are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Finance Assistant to join their busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a finance background who’s looking to make a real impact in a meaningful sector. This role is a 35-hour working week, with standard working hours being 9am-5pm. Your new role On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for: Accurately bank and post payments to owners’ accounts Update the cashbook and complete regular bank reconciliations Process telephone payments and maintain clear payment records Manage deposit transactions, including refunds and common charge reconciliations Ensure timely invoicing for factored owners and tenants (commercial and mid-market rent) Perform customer account reconciliations upon tenancy termination Make arrears phone calls and support debt collection processes in line with regulations Liaise with solicitors and internal departments regarding property sales and ownership change.
