A fantastic opportunity has arisen for someone to join our team at the Crossways Federation, in a permanent capacity as a member of the very popular After School Club team.
We are looking for someone who will enjoy working with children and who will be an enthusiastic, positive, and proactive member of the team.
Working hours:
* Monday 2.30 - 5.00
* Tuesday 2.30 - 6.00
* Wednesday 2.30 - 5.00
* Thursday 2.30 - 6.00
* Friday 2.30 - 5.00
What are we looking for?
* An individual who is flexible and enjoys responding to the needs of pupils, with a calm and reassuring manner.
* Passionate about making a difference to every child.
* Values teamwork and is keen to contribute and share skills with colleagues.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents, carers, children, governors, and the wider community.
* Punctual and reliable.
Main Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the full care of children and encouraging them to eat a snack.
* Maintaining acceptable standards of behaviour.
* Assisting in setting up and tidying away play and activity equipment.
* Administering basic first aid, recording incidents, and communicating with parents/carers as needed.
