We are looking for a skilled Children's Occupational Therapist (Band 6) to join our vibrant team in Hammersmith, London.
Responsibilities
* Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, including functional, sensory, and developmental evaluations to tailor support to each child's needs.
* Develop and deliver individualised intervention plans, enhancing children's participation in daily activities such as self-care, education, and play.
* Provide specialist advice and strategies to families, schools, and professionals to effectively support children's unique needs.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, speech and language therapists, and education staff to provide holistic care and support.
Qualifications
* Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
* Evidence of continued professional development.
* Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Knowledge of relevant frameworks and legislation such as the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice (0-25 years).
* Enhanced DBS clearance required.
