Job Title: Building Services Supervisor
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Building Services Supervisor to join our team in Southampton.
Role Summary:
To effectively manage engineering staff, ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with local legislation. Provide planned and reactive maintenance to site assets, build relationships with stakeholders, support contract management, manage suppliers, and ensure statutory regulation compliance.
CBRE LFM's provide local facilities management within Southampton, supporting an established and growing team with opportunities for development.
Key Tasks:
* Ensure efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of M&E Plant and Equipment and Fabric Services.
* Manage the CAFM System to monitor performance and service delivery.
* Maintain compliance with ISO 9001/14001 Quality Management System and health, safety, waste, and environmental responsibilities.
* Organize and assist in reactive repairs.
* Prioritize and delegate maintenance tasks to optimize service delivery.
* Ensure PPM is conducted per schedules and industry standards.
* Maintain excellent customer service and relationships with key contacts.
* Supervise specialist contractors, manage permits, inductions, and minor works.
* Assess and validate risk assessments and method statements.
* Encourage team support for other business functions.
* Hold monthly client meetings for lifecycle analysis and performance review.
* Monitor staff performance via SI Local.
* Arrange and oversee staff training for competence.
* Issue quotations and identify additional revenue opportunities.
* Manage operational requirements and out-of-hours support.
* Conduct quality audits and close out non-conformances.
* Implement operational processes for efficiency.
* Innovate and develop tools or ideas to improve maintenance services.
Technical Experience Required:
* Qualified Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled)
* Knowledge of BMS systems (preferably Trend)
* Experience in a similar role
* Understanding of building fabric
* Good communication skills
* Customer service skills
* Proficiency in MS Office applications
