Position Overview:
Our client are looking for a skilled and dedicated Housing Disrepair Litigator to join their expanding team on a remote basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and litigating a caseload related to housing conditions cases. As a prominent player in the field, our client are seeking individuals with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a volume background, demonstrating a strong understanding of housing disrepair litigation.
Requirements
1. Caseload Management: Effectively manage a litigated caseload related to housing disrepair cases.
2. Legal Representation: Provide expert legal representation for clients in court proceedings and hearings.
3. Client Consultation: Consult with clients to understand their needs, provide legal advice, and update them on case progress.
4. Legal Research: Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and precedents related to housing disrepair litigation.
5. Negotiation Skills: Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients, striving for optimal outcomes.
6. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other legal professionals and support staff within the firm.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Housing Disrepair Litigator.
2. Qualified solicitor/Legal Executive. Ideally gained litigation experience over a period of 3 years.
3. Competent Civil Litigator
4. Strong oral advocacy and negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
5. Excellent organisational and time-management skills to handle a busy caseload effectively.
6. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the overall success of the firm.
7. Communication: Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
