Job Overview
1. We are seeking a motivated and capable Service & Commissioning Engineer to join our growing wastewater engineering team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, servicing, commissioning, fault finding, and optimisation of wastewater treatment equipment across a variety of sites throughout the UK.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is practical, safety-conscious, and confident working both independently and as part of a team. The position involves regular site work, working away from home and direct interaction with clients.
Main Duties
2. Commission wastewater treatment systems including tertiary filtration, SAF units, lamella settlers, dosing systems and associated pump stations
3. Service and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment
4. Fault finding on pumps, blowers, control panels and process equipment
5. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
6. Assist with installations and upgrades of hire and permanent treatment systems
7. Read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams and technical drawings
8. Complete site documentation including RAMS, service reports and commissioning sheets
9. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety legislation and company procedures
10. Liaise professionally with site operators, contractors and project managers
11. Provide feedback to the service manager regarding recurring issues or improvement opportunities
