This role is critical in driving operational excellence, optimizing supply chain performance, and enabling business growth in a complex, multi-country environment. The role is based in Coventry, UK. About 20 % of the working time is spent travelling to Austria, and occasionally to other countries in the EEA region. This role reports to Global Operations Head.**Key Responsibilities****** **Operations Leadership*** Oversee manufacturing, tolling operations, and plant performance across the region* Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and productivity improvements* Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and regulatory standards**** **Supply Chain Management*** Lead integrated supply chain planning (S&OP / IBP) across demand, supply, and inventory* Optimize logistics, warehousing, and distribution networks across EEA* Manage supplier performance and strategic sourcing initiatives**** **Strategic Initiatives*** Develop and execute regional manufacturing and supply chain strategies* Evaluate make vs. buy and toll manufacturing opportunities* Drive digitalization and process standardization initiatives**** **Stakeholder Management*** Collaborate with commercial, R&D, procurement, and global teams* Act as a key interface between regional operations and global leadership**Key Requirements*** 8-12 years of experience in **Operations & Supply Chain**, preferably in construction chemicals, specialty chemicals, or manufacturing industries* Strong exposure to **multi-country operations in Europe / EEA (Europe, Eurasia, Africa) region*** Proven experience in **S&OP / IBP processes and supply chain transformation*** Strong leadership and team management skills in matrix organizations* Experience in **toll manufacturing, contract manufacturing, and outsourcing models*** Educational background in Engineering / Chemistry is required; MBA would be considered as an advantage* Fluent English both written and spoken is required.
