The Client Account Lead - Aviation will be at the forefront of shaping existing key client relationships, driving strategic growth, and delivering exceptional outcomes across major airports. The Client Account Lead will take a client-centric, insight-driven approach-deeply understanding client needs and aligning them with Jacobs' full breadth of capabilities. You'll work across our global network to deliver innovative, value-driven solutions that support our purpose of creating a more connected, sustainable world. In this role, you'll also embed and champion client account initiatives, systems, and best practices across the programme to ensure consistent, high-quality client experiences. This role can be based across any of our Jacobs UK offices. Roles and Responsibilities Client Relationship Leadership * Act as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for key aviation clients, including Heathrow and other major airports. * Lead the development and implementation of a Client Account Growth Plan, co-created with the client, that aligns with Jacobs' "Challenge Accepted" Strategy, European Roadmap, and global market priorities. * Build and maintain deep, strategic relationships with client decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders to position Jacobs as a partner of choice. * Champion a client-centric culture across internal teams, ensuring every engagement leaves the client thinking, "Jacobs understands how to help us better than anyone." Strategic Growth & Commercial Excellence * Identify and pursue high-value opportunities across the client's portfolio, overseeing Tier 1-4 pursuits and ensuring clear ownership of each. * Lead the capture of major new business and renewal of existing agreements, working closely with Capture Managers and Project Managers to deliver value. * Maintain oversight of the client pipeline, revenues, and commercial performance, using Jacobs' Client Success Platform (CSP) to drive data-informed decisions. * Shape and test innovative commercial strategies and value propositions with the client, ensuring alignment with their evolving needs and Jacobs' capabilities. Internal Collaboration & Leadership * Build strong internal networks across Jacobs' regional and global aviation teams, Market Solutions, Operations, and MarComms to deliver integrated solutions. * Mentor and coach emerging talent, investing in succession planning and fostering a high-performing, growth-focused account team. * Coordinate executive engagement and zippering strategies, ensuring Jacobs' senior leaders are aligned and visible to the client. Innovation & Industry Impact * Actively promote Jacobs' thought leadership, ESG commitments, and digital innovation agenda within the client organisation and across the aviation sector. * Partner with clients to co-create solutions that address their toughest challenges, leveraging Jacobs' global expertise and market-leading capabilities. * Drive visibility and recognition of Jacobs through targeted marketing, industry events, and strategic communications. Quality & Delivery Assurance * Provide senior oversight of project execution, ensuring technical excellence, safe delivery, and a consistent client experience. * Identify and mitigate risks, champion ethical practices, and uphold Jacobs' values in every client interaction. * Ensure all client engagements, pursuits, and outcomes are accurately recorded and tracked through CSP. * Proven experience in client account leadership or strategic business development, ideally within the aviation or infrastructure sectors. * Recognised industry presence with established relationships across major airports. * Deep understanding of the aviation market, including capital programmes, regulatory environment, and emerging trends. * Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to shape strategy, influence stakeholders, and drive profitable growth. * Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor others, and foster a collaborative, agile, and high-performance culture. * Experience with client management frameworks, governance processes, and digital tools such as CRM or CSP platforms.
