We have an exciting opportunity for a six-month secondment to the Acute Nursing Directorate for a Clinical Governance and Quality Lead.
Are you a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who has the creativity, experience, skills, energy and commitment to play a key role in the Clinical Governance and Quality work of the Surgical Directorate? The post will be for a six-month secondment in the first instance, and applicants should discuss with their line manager in advance of noting interest.
The postholder will support the Head of Nursing, Surgical Directorate, to manage incidents and complaints, taking a lead role in resolution and follow up actions. The postholder will also be responsible for the collection and reporting of data to the Directorate and Divisional Clinical Governance meetings and Performance Reviews. This position is integral in ensuring high standards of care, incident management, and effective governance within the Surgical Directorate.
The applicant should have excellent communication and relationship building skills and be able to communicate effectively with patients and their families as well as staff at all levels of seniority.
