About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Planner to join our clients dynamic team in Cheltenham. As a Graduate Planner, you will gain hands-on experience in planning and development projects, working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality solutions for both private and public sector clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting with planning applications and the preparation of reports and documents.
2. Conducting research, site assessments, and technical analysis.
3. Supporting senior planners with project management and client communication.
4. Developing your understanding of planning policies, local regulations, and environmental considerations.
5. Contributing to the successful delivery of planning projects.
Key Requirements:
6. A degree in Planning, Urban Studies, Geography, or a related discipline.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn.
9. A genuine interest in town planning and sustainable development.
10. A good understanding of local planning laws and policies (preferred, but not essential).
11. IT literate and proficient in MS Office; GIS skills would be an advantage.
