This is a vital role within this school offering the chance to engage and motivate learners across a dynamic and ever-evolving curriculum. We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers and experienced educators. This is for KS4 and KS5 only. Roles and Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons aligned with GCSE and A Level specifications. Differentiate teaching to support all learners, including those with SEND or EAL. Prepare students for exams through assessments, feedback, and targeted revision. Promote practical science skills through safe and effective lab work. Track and report on student progress, using data to inform teaching. Provide pastoral support as a tutor and communicate regularly with parents/carers. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental development. Participate in CPD and stay up to date with curriculum changes. Always uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards. The successful educator will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on the path to gaining it. A degree in Biology or a closely related subject. Strong knowledge of the GCSE and A Level Biology curriculum. The ability to inspire and engage students across a range of abilities. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
