We are actively recruiting for this new role to enhance our bidding team, reporting to the Head of BIDS & Marketing. Successful applicants will work on multi-sector submissions (Local Government, Retail, Education, Health, Highways and Utilities). The primary focus is to produce a successful submission within the agreed timescale, and you will also conduct client / competitor analysis as part of the process.
Location: Eccles | Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Identifying opportunities by reviewing contract notices and adverts/invites to identify opportunities of interest to the business.
* Bid/No-Bid process – conducting a full Bid/No-Bid process for each opportunity with the wider team.
* Managing delivery from receipt to submission of all stages (EoI, PQQ, RTI, ITT, ITN and RFP) for both existing and new clients.
* Working with the wider business to obtain/compile content and write technical answers.
* Collaborating with the sales team on the completion of the commercial aspects of the bids.
* Managing own workload and multiple submissions simultaneously (values can range from £10,000 to £10 million+ depending on services and contract duration).
Experience and Qualifications
* Past experience of the bid process at the same level.
* Past experience in the utility industry would be an advantage.
* Excellent written and verbal English skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
* Experience multitasking in a high-pressure environment and meeting tight deadlines.
* Excellent IT skills and good organisational and administrative abilities.
