What you will enjoy doing
* As part of this role, you will set up and clear displays, switch equipment on and off, and ensure the working environment complies with business and legal requirements
* You will be responsible for processing sales, exchanges, and refunds, while delivering product information and identifying customer needs
* As well as addressing enquiries and resolving complaints, you will escalate issues when necessary to achieve positive outcomes
* You will ensure stock availability, merchandise products, report discrepancies, and support purchase fulfilment using appropriate systems
* Your role will include delivering cylinders and hard goods to customer sites using company vehicles, as well as providing coverage for other stores within your cluster group
* You will attend college on a day-release or evening basis to gain welding skills and technical expertise, supporting your ongoing professional growth
What makes you great
* You will demonstrate an understanding of customer profiles, purchasing habits, and local community needs, tailoring services to build loyalty and meet business objectives
* You will have a strong awareness of business aims, financial principles, and sustainability practices, such as reducing waste and supporting recycling efforts
* Effective communication skill both face-to-face and online sales techniques as well as merchandising skills are required for this role
* The ability to act professionally with integrity, adapt to changing circumstances with flexibility, and foster inclusive relationships through collaboration and coaching is essential to this role
* You will use technology and applications to support sales, service, and reporting, while actively seeking learning opportunities to continuously develop your skills
* A full UK driving licence is required to support operational and customer delivery needs
