Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Community Manager, based in Aberdeen, with some flexibility for remote work. The Community Manager will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with our community members, managing social media engagement, planning and coordinating events, moderating online forums, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. They will also oversee communications that reflect the organization's mission, while increasing awareness and engagement among various audiences. The role requires close collaboration with the marketing and program teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
Qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for community engagement and fostering relationships
* Proficiency in social media management and digital communication strategies
* Event planning and coordination experience, including managing in-person and virtual events
* Ability to moderate online discussions and encourage positive and inclusive interactions
* Organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects effectively
* Passion for youth empowerment, mental health advocacy, and educational initiatives
* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred
* Experience working with charitable organizations or non-profits is a plus
