In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations as a Facility Electrical Expert, where your skills will enhance our production efficiency and safety.
What You'll Do:
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical devices and PLCs.
* Undertake emergency and routine maintenance, even during unconventional hours.
* Champion new project installations, ensuring precision and efficacy.
* Rapidly address electrical equipment issues to minimize downtime.
* Foster a culture of safety by upholding our procedures and initiatives.
* Precisely monitor and maintain critical spare parts inventory.
* Deliver clear communication on safety repairs to the management team.
* Engage in productive training and meetings to boost team cohesion.
* Be an active participant in company-wide safety and production agendas.
* Collaborate with all departments to optimize facility performance.
* Skilfully interpret technical docs and efficiently utilize machinery and tools.
* Flexibility in tackling new assignments as they arise.
Credentials Required:
* Valid Vermont Journeyman License; master's certification adds value.
* High school diploma essential; degree-level education a plus.
* Experience in heavy industry’s electrical systems is crucial.
* A minimum of hands-on two-year electrical maintenance experience.
* Familiarity with preventative maintenance strategies is an advantage.
* Able to stand, move, and lift substantial weights throughout the shift.
