Plumber / mechanical engineer (level 2) chelmsford

Level 2 Plumber – HMP Chelmsford. Salary: £36,066.96 plus 5% shift allowance for weekend working. Contract: Full time/Permanent.

We are seeking a dedicated Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) to join our team at HMP Chelmsford, a category B & Adult/Male prison.

You will work alongside experienced colleagues across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and more, contributing to a safe and nurturing environment for prisoners, staff, and visitors.

• NVQ Level 2 certificate in a mechanical or plumbing discipline or equivalent.
• Good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
