About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our dynamic catering team at a leading university in Canterbury. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant, diverse environment where your culinary skills will help shape the student and staff dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality meals for students, staff, and guests across campus dining outlets.
Support menu planning with a focus on nutrition, sustainability, and dietary inclusivity.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness in line with health regulations.
Collaborate with the Head Chef and catering team to deliver exceptional service during term time and university events.
Contribute to a positive kitchen culture that values teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.About You:
Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume or institutional catering environment.
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Professional Cookery (Level 3 desirable).
Strong understanding of food safety and allergen management.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
