Financial Accountant
About the role
We are supporting our client in hiring a Financial Accountant to join their Group Consolidation Team. This role will help manage monthly and annual consolidations and support international finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support group consolidations and issue consolidation timetables
2. Coordinate data uploads and assist subsidiaries with queries and training
3. Manage intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments (IFRS 3, 5, 16)
4. Maintain consolidation scope, investment registers, and capital structure entries
5. Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors
6. Complete consolidation journals, balance sheet reviews, and ad-hoc finance tasks
7. Provide occasional cover for the Consolidation Finance Manager
Skills & Experience
8. Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with consolidation experience
9. Strong IFRS knowledge and stakeholder management skills
10. Proactive, organised, and able to meet tight deadlines
11. Experience with pension accounting is beneficial
12. Proficient in Office 365
