A welcoming primary school in South Shields is looking for a nurturing SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs, including autism and speech and language difficulties.
Location: South Shields
Pay: £95–£120 per day
Start Date: ASAP
The Role:
Supporting children in KS1/KS2 with SEND
Delivering tailored interventions
Encouraging communication and social development
Supporting the class teacher with differentiated learning
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience with SEND (particularly ASD)
Patient, empathetic, and proactive
Strong teamwork skills
Understanding of EHCPs is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
