National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) seeks a Future Network Analyst to support development of business strategies and projects for the future electricity network. The role is based at National Grid House in Warwick, with hybrid working arrangements available. Both full‑time and part‑time positions are considered; some travel between offices will be required.
What You'll Do
Develop project management tools, frameworks or build data sets to enable strategic goals and provide deep business understanding of our strategic position. Through research and stakeholder consultation, help construct recommendations to maximise opportunities for the future network and mitigate risks to business objectives.
About You
* Skilled at project and programme management, able to effectively scope, initiate and deliver projects or lead workstreams in larger projects (APM/Prince 2 desirable).
* Excellent stakeholder management, able to engage stakeholders, facilitate workshops and group discussions.
* Experience of strategic thinking or business planning.
* Ability to communicate effectively through written, visual and verbal content.
* Excellent consultative and facilitation skills, enabling meaningful workshops or discussions to draw insights from stakeholders.
* Analytical or data management experience, able to draw insights from qualitative and quantitative data.
* Understanding and experience of commercial frameworks, concepts, engineering, assets and markets that may impact our strategy and performance.
* Knowledge of the energy sector in terms of structure, regulatory environment and short‑ and long‑term issues affecting the industry.
What You'll Get
Salary: £48,000 – £57,000 (depending on capability). In addition to base salary:
* 26 days holiday plus eight statutory days, with the option to purchase additional days and holiday swaps up to three bank holiday days.
