The Lauriston Hotel, part of the Weston College Group, is looking for a Lead Receptionist to join their team.
A dog friendly hotel, based on Weston-super-Mare's sea front, the Lauriston Hotel is situated within fragrant landscaped gardens overlooking Weston Bay's promenade.
This is a full-time role, working 36 hours per week.
Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at The Lauriston Hotel.
Day to day duties of the role
* To assist the General Manager with day-to-day operational supervision of Front of House and the running of the hotel to help deliver the Hotels' performance outcomes in accordance with agreed plans.
* To ensure a high standard of service is maintained at all times on Reception ensure communication between departments is in place to provide a seamless experience for guests.
* To take accountability for aspects of the Hotels' performance as agreed with the General Manager.
* To create a reception rota system that works within the needs of the business.
Required skills and qualifications
* Experience in administrative/receptionist role or equivalent.
* 3* Hotel experience in similar experience.
* Able to work well individually and as part of a busy multidisciplinary team.
* Dedicated staff welfare officer and wellbeing champions.
* Focus on staff wellbeing.
* Eye care including free eye test and a contribution towards glasses.
* Employee assistance programme - available 24/7, 365 days a year.
