King & Spalding, a leading global law firm, seeks a Business Development Supervisor to provide dedicated business development support to the London Finance & Restructuring Practice, working alongside a manager to advise partners and lawyers on growth initiatives, pitches, and marketing activities. The role will also provide occasional support to the broader European practice, collaborating on cross-border projects and sharing best practices. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the primary Business Development contact for the London Finance & Restructuring Practice, supporting all Business Development and marketing initiatives. Coordinate the preparation of pitches, proposals, and RFPs for the Finance & Restructuring team in London and provide pitch support to the global practice on an as needed basis. Develop and maintain marketing materials, experience lists, and credentials for designated practice. Support directory and award submissions, including gathering matter information and coordinating interviews. Conduct research on clients, competitors, and market trends to identify new business opportunities. Organise and support London Finance & Restructuring-related events, webinars, and sponsorships, working with the events team as needed. Track and report on Business Development activities, client targeting, and business planning efforts. Collaborate with the global Business Development team on cross-border initiatives and provide ad hoc support as required. Assist with onboarding of lateral hires within the Finance & Restructuring Practice, working closely with other Business Development team members. QUALIFICATIONS : Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. Team player with a flexible and proactive approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems desirable. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Prior experience in legal or professional services Business Development/Marketing desirable.
