Overview
Companion Care Eastbourne are seeking an ambitious veterinary surgeon to join our forward-thinking practice team. We are a bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery built to industry-leading standards with separate cat and dog ends to reduce stress for patients. The team includes 5 ½ vets, a nursing team of 12, and a client care team of 7.
This role would suit an experienced veterinarian with a minimum of 2 years of experience who has strong consulting skills and solid surgical competency for routine surgeries. We offer advanced services including cardiology, behaviour, keyhole surgery and dentistry, and we invest in continual development in areas of special interest.
We are based 10 minutes from the sea and welcome both full-time and part-time applicants. There are no out-of-hours duties, and there is a 1 in 4 weekend rota.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality client consultations and medical care.
* Perform routine surgical procedures with sound clinical judgment.
* Support and participate in advanced services offered by the practice (cardiology, behaviour, keyhole surgery, dentistry).
* Contribute to a collaborative, team-based environment and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of veterinary experience.
* Strong consulting ability and solid surgical competency for routine surgeries.
* Interest in developing areas of specialisation and advancing clinical skills.
