What will you be doing?
In this role, you'll help ensure we deliver an industry-leading Funeral service and promote profitable market share growth by offering maximum value and choice, while actively participating in the community.
You will support your Funeral Director in conducting and arranging Funerals, ensuring our client journey is of the highest standard.
Additionally, you will assist in implementing the funeral strategy and delivering an industry-leading Funeral service.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing leadership to our bearer team on the day of the funeral
* Supporting line managers to coach and develop colleagues’ knowledge
* Conducting Funerals to ensure high standards of delivery by all colleagues
* Leading and participating in community activities
* Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements by the bearer team on the day of the funeral
* Attending local forums and meetings to network with NAFD (National Association of Funeral Directors)
* Managing daily operations of the funeral home, including funeral arrangements and back-of-house duties as required
Please note that from 1st December 2023, new joiners to our Funeral Business will be subject to a standard DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. All offers are conditional upon receiving a satisfactory disclosure from the DBS.

You should have a passion for providing excellent service to our clients and supporting the operational team. Strong planning and organizing skills are essential for effective multi-site coverage, along with excellent communication and client engagement abilities.
