Job Title: Exam Invigilator

Salary: £13 – £18 per hour (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking professional Exam Invigilators to work in schools and colleges across Ashington. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a fair and secure exam environment.
About the Role:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring examinations run smoothly and in line with regulations. You will supervise students, provide clear instructions, and maintain a calm and controlled environment that allows pupils to perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise students during exams to ensure regulations are followed
* Distribute and collect exam papers and materials
* Ensure exam conditions are maintained at all times
* Provide clear instructions before and during exams
* Respond to queries in line with exam procedures
* Report any irregularities or concerns to senior staff
* Uphold safeguarding and exam board regulations at all times
Requirements:
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to remain calm, professional, and vigilant
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexible availability during exam periods
* Previous experience is desirable but not essential (training can be provided)
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
