Learning Support Assistant - Education and Training - Flitwick
Are you looking to gain hands-on experience within a well-resourced SEN school?
We are actively recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to work within an alternative provision school that supports and educates children with Autism, Mild Learning Difficulties, and Mental Health Challenges.
This is a diverse 1:1 Learning Support role. You will work with boys and girls from Year 3 to Year 11, all of whom will have Autism, MLD, or SEMH, potentially a combination of these.
This is a full-time, term-time-only role, with start dates available ASAP or in September.
We are conducting interviews now, with immediate trial days.
Location: Flitwick
The key aspect of this role is to demonstrate the value of education to students, whether in core subjects, vocational, sports, or creative areas.
You will be responsible for creating a safe learning environment and providing opportunities for students to make positive life choices.
There is a strong emphasis on restorative practices and positive reinforcement.
The role has a significant focus on Social, Emotional, and Mental Health, making it ideal for aspiring professionals in Forensic, Clinical, Education fields, or Youth and Criminal Justice roles.
