About the role
We are looking to recruit a technician on a temporary contract in the Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES). Under the general direction of the ICES Logistics and Operations Manager in Felinfach, Lampeter, a successful candidate will be responsible for arranging and carrying out the delivery and installation of community equipment in people’s homes as a member of the logistics team.
We are looking to recruit an individual that who has:
1. Relevant experience of working with community equipment or a willingness to learn and develop these skills
2. A technical background
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Ability to work with a range of staff and stakeholders at all levels
5. Awareness of health & safety regulations
6. Ability to work well in a team and can take directions from managers
7. Good knowledge of the geography/road layout of Ceredigion, or a willingness to learn
8. Clean full driving licence
