The Role
We’re looking for a Field Engineer or Oceanographic Engineer to play a key role in the design, integration, installation, and maintenance of our marine environmental monitoring systems. You’ll be involved in installing and maintaining a range of oceanographic equipment, including tide gauges, weather stations, current meters, wave radars, buoys, and optical sensors, ensuring a reliable flow of critical data across the network — something both you and OceanWise will be proud of. Your work will take place both in our Alton workshop and out in the field — in ports, harbours, and occasionally overseas — to make sure every system performs to the highest standard.
