At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland, we design, develop, and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with world-renowned international OEMs in industries such as material handling, construction, and forestry machinery.
What will you be doing?
* You will acquire an in-depth insight and understanding of the engineering of Hydraulic Motors and Mobile Hydraulics.
* You will work on exciting specialist and project tasks with operational and strategic responsibilities in Mechanical-Hydraulic Design, Research & Development, Testing, Applications, Development tools (simulations, etc.), Digitalisation, and Product & Project Management.
* You will briefly take on responsibilities and get to know all facets of your field in engineering as well as in day-to-day business.
* You will benefit from the comprehensive support of an experienced mentor and experts from specialist departments through regular feedback.
* You will build a comprehensive network within the company, which will benefit you in the long term.
* You can set individual priorities within the program to actively shape your future.
* You have the option of completing one of your training stations abroad.
What are we looking for?
In the Graduate Specialist Programme (GSP), you are in good hands as a technical professional with a good feel for current market developments.
* Master’s Degree in Technical Engineering or comparable, with strong fundamentals in mathematics and engineering principles.
* Experience and know-how: Relevant industrial internships, initial knowledge in software-based development tools (preferably CREO), product knowledge, applications, and project management experience.
* Soft skills: Detail-oriented, strong communication skills, team player, independent, confident, forward-thinking, analytical, and conceptual abilities. Values like courage, sincerity, tolerance, and mindfulness are desirable.
* Mobility: Willing to travel domestically and internationally as part of job rotation.
* Ambition to build a fulfilling career within the engineering industry.
* Software and IT knowledge: Experience or knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems, proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Experience: Challenging industrial internships or initial work experience in a technical environment.
* Soft skills: Excellent communication, high self-motivation, and commitment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
