The Opportunity We are working on behalf of a well-regarded, independent Chartered Accountancy practice based in Harrogate, known for its supportive, friendly team culture and strong client relationships. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an ACA qualified accountant to join their team.
The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice accountant who is confident managing assignments from start to finish with minimal senior review. The role will involve a varied portfolio of clients and offers genuine progression, including the opportunity to take ownership of your own client base.
Key Responsibilities Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors Preparing statutory accounts and tax returns Leading assignments from planning through to completion Attending and leading client meetings, building strong relationships Providing support and guidance to junior team members where required
About You ACA qualified Proven experience within a UK accountancy practice Confident handling jobs independently with minimal supervision Strong communication skills with experience in client-facing roles Organised, proactive, and keen to take ownership of your work
