Rural Surveyor - Ayr
Are you an MRICS-qualified Rural Surveyor looking for your next challenge? We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity in West Scotland.
This is a fantastic chance to join a respected independent firm specialising in rural business services. You'll work with a diverse client base, including landowners, estates, and rural enterprises, delivering expert advice and building long-term relationships.
About the Role:
You'll take the lead on estate management and contribute to a wide range of rural surveying services, including:
1. Management of agricultural, commercial, and residential property portfolios
2. Consultancy on sales, purchases, landlord/tenant matters, compensation, servitudes, and wayleaves
3. RICS Red Book valuations and property appraisals
4. Advisory work on renewable energy projects (wind, hydro, solar, battery storage)
5. Strategic land management for both private and public sector clients
6. Business development and client relationship management
What We're Looking For:
7. MRICS qualified (or working towards qualification with a RICS-accredited degree)
8. RICS Registered Valuer status preferred (not essential)
9. FAAV membership desirable but not required
10. Letting Agent Register compliant qualification a plus
11. Strong communication and organisational skills
12. Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
13. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
