These programs include group activities, one-on-one support, short stays, and supported living homes. Your lived experience will enable you to support each person in a way that suits their needs and goals. You’ll help individuals stay independent, make choices, and keep their relationships strong. You’ll follow their personal support plans while working, and may also talk with their families, carers, and other services they use. Your skills and experience Current First Aid Level 2 (including CPR) Certificate (essential). NDIS Screening check (essential). Certificate III or higher in Disability, other relevant qualification, or studying in a relevant field (desirable). Previous work or lived experience in the disability or community services field.
