About the role
As a Hospitality Assistant, you'll work in our Partner (employee) dining room providing food to our Partners. You'll take pride in your food preparation and presentation standards, ensuring the best possible catering experience. You will also support other catering tasks, including stock replenishment, storage of deliveries, food preparation, and pot washing.
Note: Due to working time regulations, applicants must be 18 years or over to apply.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work as part of a team to ensure smooth catering service.
2. Provide positive Partner interactions with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
3. Follow procedures and instructions in accordance with the 'Health and Safety at Work Act' and 'Food Safety Act'.
4. Ensure stock is stored correctly and replenished as needed.
5. Reduce food wastage by carefully rotating stock.
6. Act promptly and use your initiative to resolve operational issues.
7. Maintain personal hygiene standards.
8. Provide prompt service when working on a cashless till.
9. Maintain vending machines through cleaning and re-stocking.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Previous catering experience.
* Experience working in a forward-thinking, customer-facing environment.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Food Safety Level 2 & 3.
* Additional Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
