Mitie is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Helpdesk Operative to join our team at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. This is a vital role within our facilities management operation, ensuring that maintenance issues are logged, tracked, and resolved efficiently to support the smooth running of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to incoming calls and emails reporting breakdowns and maintenance issues within the hospital.
* Log and assign tasks to the appropriate on-site trades and ensure timely follow-up.
* Coordinate visitor bookings and manage access for subcontractors and external personnel.
* Liaise with subcontractors to ensure works are scheduled and completed in line with service requirements.
* Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring service levels are met and exceeded.
* Deliver excellent customer service to hospital staff, contractors, and other stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records of all helpdesk activities and communications.

Skills & Experience

* Previous experience in a helpdesk, customer service, or facilities coordination role is desirable.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Good IT skills, including familiarity with helpdesk or CAFM systems.
* A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
* Experience working in a healthcare or facilities management environment is a plus.
