Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Non-Working Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations across multiple roofing and cladding project sites. This role is pivotal in ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will not be "on the tools" but will provide leadership, coordination, and oversight to site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate multiple project sites, ensuring all work is completed on time and in line with project specifications.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and support site teams.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific requirements.
* Act as the primary point of contact for site teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Monitor labour, materials, and site logistics to maintain productivity and cost-effectiveness.
* Conduct site audits, toolbox talks, and quality inspections.
* Report site progress, issues, and incidents to the Contracts or Project Manager.
* Assist with resolving site-based challenges and escalating issues as needed.
* Maintain up-to-date documentation, including site diaries, delivery notes, and health & safety records.
Key Skills & Requirements:
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the roofing and/or cladding industry.
* Strong understanding of construction site practices, health & safety regulations, and industry standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects and locations.
* Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly between sites.
* CSCS Card (Supervisor or higher), SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred.
* First Aid at Work certification (desirable).
