About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is essential, and IT skills are ideally preferred. We value communication that is considerate and kind when interacting with residents and colleagues.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring our residents live in a well-maintained environment through proactive inspections and record-keeping. Tasks may include replacing taps or mixer valves, fitting extractor fans, repairing timber on windows, or decorating. Above all, kindness and consideration are paramount.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues will receive safeguarding training relevant to their role and additional training as needed. You must be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
