Job description
As a Referral and Assessment Social Worker, you will be responsible for producing outcome-based plans that consider and reflect the needs and risks to young people and their families. You will work closely with individuals in order to build positive and effective relationships that will contribute to improving their lives.
Your responsibilities will include, but isn’t limited to:
* Contributing to the development of services to children and their families
* Promote the delivery of integrated and effective services
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships at appropriate levels with other relevant partner agencies
* Identify own individual learning needs and ensure that practice reflects contemporary thinking, to ensure regular reflection of skills and abilities
* Ensure that the needs of service users from all communities are addressed
Requirements:
* Have obtained a degree in Social Work/ diploma in Social Work
* A minimum of at least 4 years’ experience, including direct management experience within children’s social services
* Social Work England Registered
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months - on the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today
* Have knowledge and experience of statutory frameworks; policy and procedure; and best practice
* Full driving licence and access to own vehicle is advantageous
