Aldermore Group – why we exist
Let us tell you a bit about us
We’re Aldermore – the award-winning bank, trusted and highly rated by over a quarter of a million customers for more than a decade. With our range of specialist mortgages, savings accounts and business finance solutions, were backing more people to go for it.
We thrive by saying “yes” to our customers. We respect the ingenuity of entrepreneurs and their start‑ups; we give first‑timers a leg‑up on to the property ladder; we open up the lending market to many; and thousands of customers choose MotoNovo Finance every week to buy their next car, van or motorbike.
Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity
The Personal Assistant role is a key part of how we deliver for our colleagues every day. You’ll provide dedicated, high‑impact support to our Executive Team—this could mean working with two ExCo members, up to four Directors, or a combination of both.
What will your day look like?
* Own diary management —coordinate meetings, protect time, set priorities, and ensure all facilities and resources are in place.
* Handle all travel and logistics, including booking accommodation and processing expenses in line with Aldermore policy.
* Manage and prioritise correspondence —filter calls and emails, highlight urgent items, and keep leaders focused on what matters most.
* Coordinate and support leadership team meetings, ensuring agendas, actions, and logistics run smoothly.
* Work seamlessly with PAs across the Group, providing cover, sharing knowledge, and operating as a strong virtual team.
* Build strong relationships with direct reports, key stakeholders, and external partners to enable effective collaboration.
What do we expect from you?
* Exceptional organisation and time‑management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
* Calm and effective under pressure, thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail, delivering accurate, high‑quality work every time.
* Absolute discretion and confidentiality, handling sensitive information with professionalism and trust.
* Confident communicator and relationship‑builder, able to liaise effectively at all senior levels.
* Flexible, proactive, and self‑driven, adapting to change and using your initiative to keep things moving.
Behaviour Framework
Our behavioural framework underpins our purpose and strategic drivers, as it outlines the behaviours we need to demonstrate in order to succeed. Where our strategic drivers (Stay Ahead Propositions, Relationships That Last and Progressive Platform) outline what we need to do to succeed, our behaviours guide us in how. In your second interview, we’ll ask you to talk through some examples where you’ve demonstrated these behaviours in your previous roles.
