We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Practitioner to join our client’s family‑run children’s day nursery. It is nestled in a leafy residential area and set within a large Edwardian house with extensive gardens. The setting cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years and operates from well‑equipped rooms.
Before You Apply
* This role requires a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
* You must have recent experience working as a Nursery Practitioner in a nursery – Minimum 1 Year
* Applicants must be confident managing a key group independently.
* Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience
* 40 hours per week, All Year Round
* Full‑time, permanent contract

What You’ll Need
* Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years
* Strong working knowledge of the EYFS framework
* Recent experience as a Nursery Practitioner in a nursery setting – Minimum 1 year
* Experience caring for children aged 0–5 years
* Clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
* Paediatric First Aid
* Training or experience in additional early years programmes or specialty areas
What You’ll Do
* Plan and deliver EYFS‑led activities appropriate to your room
* Act as key person, completing observations and assessments
* Maintain accurate learning and development records
* Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures
* Support daily routines including meals, sleep and transitions
* Contribute to room planning meetings and parent communication
