The role
We are supporting a successful and rapidly growing business with a strong reputation across the UK. They are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join the team on a full or part-time basis.

What’s on offer:
Salary: c£46,000
Location: Crawley
Hours: Part-time or full-time will be considered – minimum 3 days per week (8am – 3.30pm/8.30am – 4.00pm)

The Role:
Reporting to and working closely with the HR Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration and processing of the company's monthly payroll for approximately 450 employees.
You will play a key role in ensuring payroll is delivered accurately, compliantly and on time, while supporting a range of payroll-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
* Processing and administering the monthly payroll for up to 450 employees
* Ensuring all payroll data is entered accurately and processed within required deadlines
* Calculating and processing statutory payments and deductions, including SSP, SMP, tax and National Insurance
* Ensuring all HMRC submissions are completed accurately and on time
* Uploading and maintaining pension contribution information
* Resolving payroll queries from employees and managers in a professional and timely manner
* Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation
* Supporting the HR Manager with payroll projects, process improvements and payroll-related initiatives
* Assisting with year-end payroll processes and reporting requirements
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous payroll administration experience, ideally managing a medium-sized payroll
* Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, HMRC requirements and statutory payments
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* Experience using payroll software, with IRIS Cascade experience highly desirable
