Permanent £40,000 - £42,000 plus package I am searching for a health & safety professional to work for a leading civil engineering/utilities focused business, the position is working across multiple projects with a focus on Birmingham and Solihull but will also have responsibility for the South region. The ideal candidate will have a couple of years’ experience working in civil engineering or utilities and seeking an opportunity where they can work autonomously and can make an impact from day one. The position will be based in a local office with travel and can be based anywhere as long as traveling to Birmingham 3/4 days a week isn’t an issue. The SHEQ Advisor will be responsible for: Driven and enthusiastic individual with a passion for health & safety Site focused, carrying out audits and inspections across a region Able to work autonomously and manage their own diary and workload. Support the team to create a positive health & safety culture Lead on accident investigations and near misses to identify root causes and implement improvement plans. The SHEQ Advisor will have: 2 years of experience working in health & safety Previous experience working in utilities, energy, power or civil engineering.
