About the role
As the Staff Analytics Engineer on the Cyber Analytics team, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable data lake and data warehouse solutions, data models, and analytics frameworks to empower security users with insights, reporting, advanced analytics, machine learning, and GenAI solutions to enhance security defenses. You will lead data modeling, architectural decisions, guide technical direction, and mentor the analytics engineering team to deliver high-quality data products.

Responsibilities
* Technical leadership: design, development, and delivery of cyber data lake and data warehouse solutions, analytics frameworks, and processes.
* Analytics architecture: build and manage ETLs, data quality processes, and implement Data as a Service (DaaS).
* Coding and documentation: produce high-quality code, conduct peer reviews, and document data models and ETLs.
* Data security and compliance: enforce data security standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Automation and DevOps: streamline deployment, configuration, and management of data solutions.
Qualifications
* Proven experience leading teams to deliver robust data models and analytics frameworks.
* Strong programming skills in Python/PySpark and SQL.
* Experience with cloud data lake and warehouse solutions, e.g., Databricks on Azure, with DaaS models.
* Knowledge of data lake and warehouse concepts, architecture patterns, coding standards, version control, CI/CD.
* Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks, orchestration tools like Airflow and dbt.
* Familiarity with enterprise BI tools like Tableau.
* Understanding of distributed and stream processing frameworks.
* Ability to guide and develop engineering teams.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
